About Us

About Me

I am an associate clinical therapist who bring energy and fun into therapy. I value honesty, collaboration, and respect. I emphasize kindness and compassion while considering all aspects of the person or family in the therapy space.

In my personal life, I enjoy nature, sunny summer days or snowy downhill slopes on skis, and an energetic dance to happy music.

I started my mental health profession working in social services systems and residential behavioral health in Northern Europe and achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Psychology. Soon after, I moved countries and graduated with a Master of Social Work from CSUDH. All of my undergraduate and graduate experience has focused on understanding diverse systems and intersectionality. My Social Work degree integrated diversity education to intervene in systems of inequality and raise awareness of mental health in various communities.

I have worked in school-settings and hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential for school counseling. I also have experience in early childhood mental health and foster care mental health, often navigating the impact of children in various systems.

Why I am a Therapist

For as long as I can remember I have been interested in emotions and psychology. In high school, I followed the behavioral health program which piqued my interest in the mental health field. My journey took me across the Atlantic Ocean to California where I continued my education, and now have the privilege of working with amazing children and adults daily.

My personal experience and multicultural background help me relate to people from various places and societal systems. I love working with emotions and behaviors because they are so important to understand when we encounter difficult times in our lives.

Since I was young, I have learned about diverse needs affecting a variety of communities and realized that I have the power to use my compassion as a tool to strengthen individuals and families.
